Frequently Asked Questions

A Glass Bevel Machine is a specialized piece of equipment used in the glass processing industry. It is designed to create a beveled edge on glass sheets, giving the glass a distinctive, angled edge that enhances the aesthetic and functionality of the finished product. Beveled edges are commonly used in mirrors, windows, doors and furniture.

A glass beveling machine works by using rotating grinding wheels to gradually grind and polish the edges of a glass sheet at a specific angle, creating a beveled edge by progressively removing material from the glass until the desired bevel shape and size are achieved.

Beveling glass is primarily done for aesthetic reasons, as it creates a decorative edge by cutting the glass at an angle, which acts like a prism to refract light and add color variations, while also smoothing out sharp edges, making the glass safer to handle and enhancing its visual appeal.
